My name is Blaithe Tarley, and I am a junior at West Virginia University. I am a strategic communications major with an emphasis in public relations. I hail from a small town in North Carolina, but West Virginia has always been a second home to me. Growing up with three siblings made it very difficult to be heard, so effective communication was crucial. As I delved further into the world of communication and media prior to college, I began to finalize my goal of becoming a public relations professional. Since that time, I have landed an internship at the WVU Center for Excellence in Disabilities and executive positions in both PRSSA and Autism Speaks U. I continue to broaden my education and knowledge as often as possible.
